Concept

Zertte Studio is a 300 m² engineering and creative laboratory inside the Republican Physics and Mathematics School in Almaty. It brings classes, experiments, team projects and informal gatherings into one adaptable environment.

The brief was to make a distinctive STEAM space without relying on expensive finishes. Its character comes from accessible materials, clear zoning, confident colour accents and furniture that supports different ways of working.

A hydroponic growing wall works as both a live biology lab and a visual anchor. A shared worktable brings students together around hands-on projects; bold built-in storage adds colour and order; and open lounge seating makes the laboratory welcoming to students and visitors.
